A HOLY DHARMA BOWL THAT RECEIVED NECTAR

A HOLY DHARMA BOWL THAT RECEIVED NECTAR

In 2001 on the holy birthday of the Buddha, Great Dharma King Yangwo Yisinubu personally practiced dharma to invite the Buddhas to bestow true nectar in front of a gathering of monastics. This dharma was practiced in order to further world peace, advance the prosperity and safety of our country and its people, and increase the happiness of all living beings. More than 200 sariras of various colors were also bestowed at that time. Instead of using a Dharma King bowl during that practice of dharma, the Great Dharma King used an ordinary bronze bowl with the lid removed. After the Dharma Assembly, the Great Dharma King blessed Bodhi Monastery by giving it the holy bonze bowl that had received the nectar. The abbess of Hua Zang Si, Dharma Master Long-Hui, respectfully received the bowl on behalf of the temple for the public to worship and venerate.
