No. 20170107: Pictures of the passing of Holy Monk Yinhai
Holy Monk Yinhai
We now publish the Dharma image of the Elder Monk Yinhai, as well as some other pictures. The body of Holy Monk Yinhai underwent a divine transformation ten days after His passing, setting up the first instance of divine transformation after passing in the entire Buddhist history. Buddhist cultivators can worship these pictures and thus receive great blessings. There are seven pictures:
- A picture of Elder Monk Yinhai taken a few years ago;
- The group picture of the assembly and Elder Monk Yinhai eleven hours after His passing on the same day;
- The group picture of the Dharma masters, rinpoches, and the Elder Monk’s Vajra Dharma body that is as hard as iron and stone, thirty-one days after the passing of Elder Monk Yinhai;
- A comparison picture between what was taken eleven hours after Elder Monk Yinhai’s passing, in which He looked very old, skinny, and deeply wrinkled, and what was taken twenty-four days after his passing, in which He looked full and fleshed. His Dharma body underwent a divine transformation and became a completely different look. It is the first real Vajra flesh sarira that happened in Buddhist history;
- A couplet for Elder Monk Yinhai;
- A second couplet for Elder Monk Yinhai; and
- The praise verse Wangzha Shangzun wrote for Elder Monk Yinhai.
We would also like to inform you all at this time that the United International World Buddhism Association Headquarters has now become the World Buddhism Association Headquarters. All activities and announcements are continuous.

1. A picture of Elder Monk Yinhai taken a few years earlier

2. The group picture of the assembly and Elder Monk Yinhai eleven hours after His passing on the same day.
Translation of the text in the picture: Elder Monk Yinhai’s face was skinny, bony, and deeply wrinkled, but He looked compassionate and at ease.
3. The group picture of the Dharma masters, rinpoches, and the Elder Monk’s Vajra Dharma body that is as hard as iron and stone, thirty-one days after the passing of Elder Monk Yinhai.
Translation of the text in the picture: The Dharma masters and rinpoches have stayed by the side of Elder Monk Yinhai after His passing and chanted the holy name of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva without a single break for thirty-two days continuously. People saw with their own eyes that the Dharma flesh of the Elder Monk go through great divine transformation in the bones and muscles and became a perfect, majestic Dharma body. This picture was taken thirty-one days after His passing. At the time of the picture, there was marvelous fragrance in the air.
4. A comparison picture between what was taken eleven hours after Elder Monk Yinhai’s passing, in which He looked very old, skinny, and deeply wrinkled, and what was taken twenty-four days after his passing, in which He looked full and fleshed. His Dharma body underwent a divine transformation and became a completely different look. This is the first real Vajra flesh sarira that really happened in Buddhist history;
Translation of text on the left: This is the picture of Holy Monk Yinhai 11 hours after passing. His face looked bony and deeply wrinkled. Wangzha Shangzun had foretold before the passing of Holy Monk Yinhai and said that the elder monk would leave an unprecedented holy miracle after His passing.
Translation of text on the right: On the tenth day after Holy Monk Yinhai’s passing, His bones and muscles underwent a divine transformation and He turned into a perfect, majestic look as if a totally different person. This picture was taken twenty-four days after His passing.
5. A couplet written for Elder Monk Yinhai
Translation of the left side: The senior virtuous one, the Dharma elder Hai, is shifted eastward to Rose Hills of Los Angeles; Translation of the right side: The great master, the holy venerable Xiaoming, is moving westward to the Lotus Land in the World of Ultimate Bliss.
6. A second couplet written for Elder Monk Yinhai
Translation of the right side: For six years while He was alive, His Dharma body powerfully manifested a divine and different form; The high monk thus smashed the old tomes in the calendars of the religion;
Translation of the left side: Ten Days after He passed away, His flesh transformed greatly into a most majestic look; The elder one hence established a new chapter in Buddhist history.
7. The praise verse Wangzha Shangzun wrote for Elder Monk Yinhai
Translation
The verse of praise
Monk Yinhai’s merit shines throughout heaven and earth
The nine precept scars emitted light that broke the darkness in the sanctuary room
With great compassion and Bodhi the unknown one now leaves His name known
On His vows He returned to the upper level lotus in the World of Ultimate Bliss
The holy venerable one’s flesh underwent a great divine transformation
Thus establishing a new holy chapter of passing in Buddhist history
Earlier we practiced together in a cave in the deep mountains
Later we both followed the true teachings and got near the Buddha
