It Is Truly Amazing! A Magic Beam Falls From The Sky!
A magic beam that emitted extremely strong red light and reached all the way up to the sky again descended from the sky and stood vertically on the earth. Due to that beam, the sun changed color, emitting blue, green, purple, and red rings of light. When the magic beam descended, the Tibetan seed syllable characters “Ong, Ah, Hong” appeared in the clouds. Those seed syllables characters were in white, red, and blue, respectively. It was truly miraculous. A photograph I took of this true scene accompanies this article.
On February 28, 2005, I was fortunate enough to worship the Buddhas in the mandala (i.e. holy building containing a Buddhist altar area and the immediate surrounding property) of Great Dharma King Yangwo Yisinubu. The Great Dharma King is the Vajradhara (supreme leader) of both exoteric and esoteric Buddhism. That mandala is located in the Los Angeles area and contains a Dharma King bowl that has been handed down and used in nectar ceremonies. In the middle of the altar hangs a tanka (a Tibetan religious painting on fabric) of the Long Life Buddha that is worshiped. That Buddha’s body is coral red, and a ring of green light hovers over that Buddha’s head. On the left of that tanka is Mahakala, and on the right is Sri-maha-devi. Both of them are dharma-protecting Bodhisattvas of esoteric Buddhism. On another side of the altar is the three-dimensional tanka of the Green Tara mandala. The entire body of Green Tara is green, and she is sitting amid the clouds. The twenty-one Taras that are neatly arranged behind Green Tara look dignified and powerful. The King of the Brahman-heaven (a four-faced Buddha also called Sikhin) and various dharma-protecting deities are in front of and on either side of Green Tara. With austere expressions of their faces, they protect Green Tara. On another side of the mandala of Great Dharma King Yangwo Yisinubu are a few rooms occupied by disciples of the Great Dharma King.
It was a bright and beautiful afternoon in California. After 3:00 in the afternoon, I went to the outer-mandala area (i.e. an area outside of the building) and saw that the clouds in the sky were changing in a very strange way. I grabbed my camera and took pictures of the holy scene in the sky above the front door to the mandala. Right at this time, an auspicious wind suddenly began blowing. The clouds began to move. A moment later, a magic red beam descended from the heights of the blue sky. The beam had a strong and dazzling brightness to it. This towering beam had the diameter of a bowl. It radiated in all directions a strong and clearly visible silver-white light. This beam of light faced the middle of the entrance to the Buddhist altar area. It descended from the sky straight down to the earth. Its red light slowly spread throughout the entrance to the inner-mandala area (i.e. the area of the building in which the altar is located).
When I had finished worshipping the Buddhas in the afternoon, I stepped outside the front door of the inner-mandala. The green grass looked like a soft carpet. The water in the pool was lovely. Towering trees stood straight. On the right side of the outer-mandala area, a coniferous tree seemed so high that it could almost reach the clouds. It stood perfectly straight, and its top faced the sky. The left side of the outer-mandala area was just as beautiful as the right.
At this time, the sunshine was clear and enchanting. I saw that the clouds in the blue sky were changing and felt it was quite extraordinary. It was an auspicious scene. Then, that towering beam stood up straight before me. It was like a huge tube of sunlight millions and millions of feet high. It ascended all the way to the heights of the sky. There was strong sunlight that day. Still, the brightness of that beam was several hundred thousand times stronger than the brightness of the sun. It was a living substance that was before my eyes.
At the time, I was completely shocked. When I regained my composure, I immediately pressed down the shutter of my camera. From my camera lens, I could see that at the closed doorway area of the mandala there were many round objects suspended in the air. In the area around the light beam, there were rays of light radiating. The rays of light were extremely strong. Amid all of that, there was a gigantic green dharma wheel that commanded my attention. It moved upward, downward, to the left, and to the right. It looked just like the Vajra wheel that the Great Dharma King ordinarily uses.
I presume that this mandala of the Great Dharma King surely is no ordinary holy place. Otherwise, how could such auspicious sights appear? Furthermore, I took pictures of those auspicious sights while I saw them clearly. Unfortunately, Great Dharma King Yangwo Yisinubu was not at that place. Nobody told me that there were any auspicious signs. I simply took a stroll alone in the outer-mandala area so that I could appreciate the scenery. It was at that time when I discovered extraordinary signs descending from the sky. I took pictures of the holy sight of the magic beam that descended from the sky.
After using my connections, I was able to telephone the Great Dharma King and ask him what the karmic meaning of this dharma manifestation is. The Great Dharma King said, “I am a humble person. I do not have the merit to manifest the dharma! The magnificence of the Buddhas is what all of you should sincerely face.”
